Eddie heard Troy's voice as she lay on the floor, her body shaking with convulsive sobs as she tried to get a handle on her emotions. "Troy..." she choked out, as she reached for him. She needed some sort of anchor, and Troy was it. She fought to contain her misery, pain, and heartache within her own mind, knowing that everyone near could be greatly effected and their behavior, in turn, would be unpredictable. Edana forced herself up into a sitting position, where she lifted her head to peer at Troy's face, but looked down at the floor again, unable to keep eye contact. "He... he... cheated on me..." she managed between sharp intakes of breath. She still didn't want to believe it. She didn't want to believe who he'd cheated with. "Oh god... Troy..." She felt so exposed, so raw. She wanted to sink into the floor and never be seen again.
