Troy shut the door behind him as he stepped into the hall. He was on his way to go to the lab and see Will. There wasn't much he could do but watch him sleep, but it made him feel better to be around the fairer haired man. The Native was halfway to the stairs when his feet dug themselves into the carpet. Brian pushed through the door of his room and out into the hall with great force, and stomped shaking mad down the passage toward the stairs. The blond was red in the face and pissed. Troy didn't remember seeing Brian look that way ever. He let out the breath he didn't know he'd been holding and his head jerked to the side when he heard a thud come from the room. Oh shit. He moved to the door and put his shoulder against it and pressed his face close, with his hand on the knob. "Eddie?" he called. No answer. He moved inside with a rush despite his better judgment. Hell, he could turn to water; he'd seen most of these people naked. When the Navajo stepped inside, he rushed forward and his knees dropped to the floor like magnets on metal. "Eddie," he held his arms out over her, but didn't touch her. From the looks of things, there'd been some harsh words shared. The woman in front of him was doing a poor job controlling her mutation, he realized, when he got the overwhelming urge to weep for her. "Eddie..." he repeated, his throat going stiff with the threat of tears.
