Jason had been keeping that little bit of information to himself. It was just that his frustration broke it out of him now. As for being in the wrong, it was hard to not feel a bit in the wrong with everyone telling him he was in the wrong. However, her words hit something in him.
He looked up at her in shock. "I've never met anyone who was interested who didn't take it when offered." He didn't tend to hang around very nice or moral people. Things were shifted to a new view. If Joe had been interested but not planning to take. If Jason had indeed made him take it, then he WAS in the wrong. "There are some I would NEVER touch." he added, beginning to understand how choice could be made not to do things. After all, he choose to not go after Galen, despite his dreams. Plus, he would never go after children, didn't even dream about it. That was taboo, a taboo so strong in him that he would never cross it.
He slumped in his chair. "He... he really didn't want to do that, did he?" Jason was finally actually understanding the situation. His hands shook slightly. This was bad. The realization that you could actually NOT want to do that and still be enjoying it like that made him feel sick. No, he thought, he had been wrong about what happened with Joe, but his own situation had been different. He had gotten a lot out of it. Money, energy. He had chosen to continue, to go back. He was born to be like this.
