He relaxed slightly as she agreed to call him by his first name. Though honestly he was surprised... and dissappointed? when she simply accepted his apology. As much as he wasn't used to apologizing, he wasn't used to being forgiven so easily. Not by someone who wasn't his brother. But apologies weren't about making himself feel better, he reminded himself.
He was very dubious that speaking from his heart and mind would make things turn out fine. He just... he fucked things up, one way or another, almost ALL the time. The mention of Mars stirred some feelings. Remembering the swift and brutal actions the man had taken stirred a strange combination of fear and arousal. Yeah, he was messed up. That was part of what he was working on with Xavier.
Jason nodded. "I remember him. Do you think I should approach him first? Or just wait until they are together?" He sighed. This was very complicated. "And I'm really not sure about speaking with Joseph." Thinking back and talking with Xavier, he really wasn't sure what had happened with the other man any more. Apparently their encounter had troubled Joe, and he was trying to work out why. "After speaking with Xavier, I am not sure he would be comfortable with me speaking with him even with having company."
