There were a lot of things in her past that led to Diana being the person she was. Truth in fact, she was a bit glad that her mother had 'raised' her to be so independent. That meant that when she was forced to be on her own, she was able to adapt.
Creeds first words didn't seem too encouraging. What he followed up with was a bit better though. She looked out at the pool. She wanted to know him better and yet she didn't. Spending time together would mean he got to know HER too. She wasn't sure if she could handle getting close just to be rejected again. She shrugged. "You weren't that bad before." At least not to her. "Of course, you look a lot better what with the shave and such." She could understand why her mom might have liked being with THIS Victor Creed. "And not beating up my friends is a pretty good change." Though that had been before he had come to the mansion.
