Storm grinned in response to Lorna's recollection. "I'm sure they appreciated it to some extent," she smirked. She nodded happily at Jean, but Lorna's last statement and Jean's thoughts of agreement caused her to get sidetracked. "We should have just crashed one, at some point. I'm sure that would've been frowned heavily upon..." But hell, sometimes they'd taken out one of the classic cars for a joyride to the mall for shoes. Girls had to be girls every now and then.
They wouldn't have even had to take the boys along.
"After we've figured out the cure, maybe we could have a little gala of our own. You know, the X-Men. We could spend some time outside, put on some music and some heels." Storm hadn't dressed up since, well, she couldn't remember. Probably the Professor's funeral. "I think the kids would be game." The 'kids' meaning the younger X-Men. They were hardly children anymore. "We could do it sooner, even, as a pick-me-up."
