"I'd say it was a honest-to-goodness attempt; Ascanio Condivi was Michelangelo's apprentice, as well as his official biographer," Wren told her, smile still firmly in place, though it had become a bit more relaxed. "Granted, Michelangelo had a say in what was written down and what was conveniently left out, but I think you get a fairly decent insight on what his life was like."
Wren had done a few papers about said artist while she was in college, so she was a fountain of knowledge where he was concerned. She actually possessed a wide variety of information on pretty much any well-known or semi well-known artist, possibly even a few obscure ones; but she wasn't one to brag.
And the the conversation shifted to something off topic - not that she minded, of course.
"I've met quite a few 'kind ears,'" Wren replied, which was not a lie. She had been fortunate enough to meet some really nice people while she'd been there, despite the sudden inset of a social phobia. "Pretty much everyone's been nice to me," so far.
"I've spoken with Mr. Lensherr a couple times since I've been here," she informed her, though she didn't look at all perturbed about it. "I spoke with Kurt on Monday evening... I had some personal issues to work through, and he was kind enough to lend a sympathetic ear." She was feeling immensely better since doing that, but it was mostly something that had to work itself out. Talking about it helped, though.
"I also met Piotr."
