Betsy smiled a sleepy smile when he fell onto the bed beside her and she turned herself to the left, then curled her legs up a little. She was a little chilly now that Brian had removed himself from her, but she was still a little too weak-kneed to move around a lot; so she stayed put - for the moment.
When her brother went off to the bathroom, Betsy simply lied there, basking in the afterglow. It had been so... Betsy wasn't even entirely sure there was a word in the English language for what they had just experienced, and do it justice. No, what had happened was uniquely special; therefore, it was beyond any mere mortal words.
Not too much longer later, Brian returned and had cuddled up next to her again, much to her delight. "There aren't any," she said. "None that exist, anyway." She shifted her weight again, but this time she did it so she could lie back down completely again.
While Betsy didn't feel guilty or shamed for what they had done together, per se; but she did feel a little strange considering Brian was with someone.
A moment of silence passed between them, as Betsy realized that she wanted it to happen again, as well. Originally, she had thought that this would probably be a one-time-only kind of thing and she had been fine with it... But now, well, she was a little confused.
Brian was with Edana, and Betsy liked and respected her a great deal; but this changed things forever. How could she ever look Eddie in the eye after this?
Okay, perhaps Elisabeth felt a little guilt-ridden.
"So do I," she admitted aloud. She was pretty sure Bri-Bri knew that already, but he could probably sense her reluctance to let it continue, as well.
