"Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same." Kurt intoned quietly, watching the young woman's face as she looked ready to cry. It had obviously been a self-defense killing. He understood her pain, but she couldn't dwell on it or she would never be able to get on with her life. They may have been in the middle of a semi-apocalypse, but Kurt always tried to be an optimist. The roads of turmoil were always the start of a path that led to new beginnings. "You know," he started, while he brought his glowing eyes to her face once more, "This could be a new beginning for you. You can start over." He knew she'd probably never let go of the man she loved completely, but she needed to find something to focus her attentions on. Something positive. "Have you spoken to the Professor about assisting any of the teachers here?" She was an educated woman he could tell. May as well put that knowledge to good use. "I'm sure someone could use some help."
