"Good afternoon lovelies..." The staircase hid the foyer from view of the elevator, so Toad hadn't a clue he was about to sneak up on two of the nerdy-birds from down below. When he rounded the stairs en route to grub, he found himself pleasantly surprised. Oh, he liked 'em geeky. "I guess they must've rang the dinner bell."
Zap had nearly paused in her tracks at the sound of the gruff, English accent from behind them, but managed to keep her step. She turned part way, so she was angled toward Matrix, looking back at Toad. "Or it's lunch time and people get hungry mid-day?"
"Do they get bitchy, as well?" Mort inquired, a smirk on his lips and a harmless twinkle in his eyes.
Zap smirked in response, then rolled her eyes toward Eva. At least the Brotherhood added a little color to their days.
"Mind if I sit in with you pair?"
What?! Uh. Zalika glanced to Eva and squinted a contemplative eye, giving the option to deny the green man their company to Matrix.
