Ororo understood and (honestly) encouraged his curiosity. Though, she might not mention the latter aloud. It wasn't a hard thing to ponder over, or a difficult conclusion to come to: Would things have been better for me with good help? People in all sorts of situations have wondered. Ororo herself had imagined once or twice what things might have been like had she been found sooner by the Professor.
"When you feel like all you have in the world is one person - sometimes you're willing to do with less to be with them. It's our nature."
She sighed lightly and glanced skywards, and when her eyes became level once more with Galen, she offered him a smile, "It's never too late to try."
