Alex's departure caused Ric to vaguely register the fact that the fight was still going on. He kept a tight grip on Star's arms, relieved to hear that he was being tended to. Granted, a short while later when he regained his powers and his sanity, he would be endlessly embarrassed and likely attempt to deny or downplay his panic. He huffed for air as he tried to keep himself breathing, his face going rather pale and clammy from his panic.
"P--Pass out? what the hell? I'm not going to pass out! I couldn't, not when I'm--I can't feel anything, Star!" He was half shouting as Shatterstar basically dragged him into the Haven again. He was promptly propped up against the wall, he sitting as his knees were refusing to hold his weight. He gripped at 'Star's body even on the ground, his head ducking forward against Star's shoulder as sweat dripped off his face. "I could... I could feel everything," he at last managed to explain, his form actually quivering, though he still had enough sense in him to deny that. "E--everyone, everything, insets, grass, people... I could feel it all. I... I wasn't alone. And it's gone..! I'm..." He quickly clamped his mouth tightly shut when his voice quivered slightly. Oh no, he was not going to let himself have a complete breakdown, he was already far too close to that as it was.
