Xavier put on an easy smile and waved him closer, his own handicap rather obvious. It was easy to miss the discreet side ramp that made the entrance wheelchair accessible. But none of that was important now.
"Indeed. I'm sure they would prefer the term mutant, if you please. We are still working out a lot of the kinks, since we seem to all have very individual abilities and needs. Welcome to my home, Mr. Forge. I'm afraid it wasn't built with any of us in mind, but it seems to me that a man of your particular talents could do wonders for the place."
He waved Forge to one of the many chairs. "Please, make yourself comfortable. Tea? Water?" he asked. Some of the younger, more curious denizens would pop in and out around corners and hallways to catch a glimpse of the newcomer but, generally, they weren't disturbed.
