Leaning forward, Josh laid his hand over hers and gave it a squeeze. "If you need to talk, my ears will always be open," he replied with an understanding expression. "No matter what time of day, if you have to wake me up then that's fine. If it means you feeling better then I'm ok with that."
As a healer, if another doctor was concerned with the mental health of a person he cared about, it made him wonder what it was that the other doctor saw that caused that concern. A couple of minutes later he returned with a bottle of what was considered "top shelf" whiskey at this hovel and two shot glasses.
