Fia laughed as she slid into the passenger seat and closed the door. There weren’t seat belts in this car, at least not yet. She’d probably change that first thing, though, and it had nothing to do with laws. After all, she didn’t have a healing factor, and she had no desire to eat pavement some night.
Putting her back to the door, she watched him get in the car, still favoring his hand, and grinned. “You’re gonna have to shift fast, love. And I think you should try and bear out on me down here when we get done. Heal your hand that way if you can. Because I don’t think you’ll be able to keep your promises one handed,” she teased him with a grin.
