Who: Moreau OT Wanda
Where: Omega Base
When: Mid-morning
What: The Doctor goes to inquire after the health of team leader.
Eddie had spent the days following his interaction with Jean, he couldn't call it a date there was something there which shouldn't have been more than likely having to do with the amount of information he had dropped on her, bent over his microscope and nearly nose to nose with his computer screen. At least, that's what Moreau's recollections were. While that personality thought it had been working, the Essex personality was filtering its way through the thinking of others in the compound, lightly brushing up against other minds and doing its best to remain anonymous.
There weren't many who had the ability necessary to detect him, so it wasn't much of an issue, but he remained cautious. Those who were not cautious were the ones who ended up with their heads being blown off. That was not his intention, nor did he intend to put himself in danger without the reward being far greater than the risk.
Now that he'd taken the time to do his homework, however little he'd been able to figure out, he was willing to take a chance.
Wanda was the leader of the Brotherhood. She was a woman with power. From what he'd been able to glean from her file, as he was now somewhat required to keep one on each team member, she was quite powerful. This was a woman he might do well to have on his side. Not to mention she offered something he didn't have, information. He could read the minds of most of the team, so that wasn't a problem. Yet he was still having to take a more proactive approach in finding out about those around him.
Especially those with abilities he could possibly use. Now to sound her out, see how she reacted to him, find what weaknesses he could use to turn her to his side.
One certainly could not overlook she was a beautiful woman in her own right. Moreau might well pine for Jean, and Essex felt some touch of that as well, but Essex had no real loyalty to Jean. She was beautiful, powerful, useful. Having more than one woman with such attributes would only be better, not worse.
So said his vanity.
He moved from his office to go to where Wanda seemed to hold court. With the head of his cane, he tapped on the door, awaiting her permission to enter. Women did love to have what control they could. Gentlemen knew how to treat women in way that they saw themselves in control.
"If I may intrude," he asked quietly. The doctor was, as always, well pressed. Dark slacks under a white shirt with a tie adorned with a silver tie clip. Over the shirt was a vest, but no jacket. There was some nod in the direction of him being completely overdressed.
