At her response, Laura quirked a brow. There she went listening in on her thoughts again. With her shields down, she supposed she should expect a lot of that. Crossing her arms, she listened to the rest of what Jean had to say without interjecting. At least, not out loud. Laura would've appreciated Jean not using the word 'fucking' and her father's name in the same sentence, but there wasn't much she could do about that. And Laura was also well aware that her father was out on a mission and she didn't question when he'd be back because he was known to always come back once the mission was over. Besides, she would've known if something had gone wrong because his com device would've sent a signal back to the Haven.
Watching Jean quietly for a few moments, Laura sighed and was about to speak again before Jean piped back up with the stripper thing. Ugh, Laura really needed to learn how to keep others out of her mind. "Not anymore. He showed up one day and tore the entire place apart after he saw me on stage. Though, really, what does it say about him that he was there in the first place?" Laura was definitely not pleased to be talking about this with Jean. It was only making her more upset.
