"They do," he agreed with a thoughtful nod. "Though their beaks come to points which makes them sharp, duck bills are wider and--I'm rambling," Jamie sighed as he rubbed his face. He really needed to figure out a way to stop doing that. "I'm sorry to hear about the biting and the bruising?"
"This would be a little bit of both, I'd say. Just want to figure out where you stand and what we can do to get you ready and officially on the team and all that. We'll get you active in the next group training session so you can see some of your teammates in action, and medical will want to have another little get-to-know-you chat so they can be ready to best help you in case of... you know. The bad stuff." Insert a small grin that Jamie genuinely hoped did not cause fear and he nodded. "But, unless you have any more questions for me, I won't take up any more of your time for now."
