Healers seemed to be working well with the team, Jamie had been told he had an appointment to talk about his fears and other quirks. Yeek. Like he needed to expose anyone else to his unique brand of crazy. He was now pretty sure it was Sabretooth who had killed Rascal, but there was no sign of the hairy beast. He needed to meet with Wolverine to--
Green eyes quickly snapped up from where they were skimming important notes for the week when a quiet knock at the door announced an arrival. And the person he was waiting for no less, wonderful! Jamie's smile was warm, inviting, friendly and, well, even on his best behavior one got the feeling there was a bit of a trickster or wise ass behind those bright green eyes. He quickly stood, closing the folder and sliding it aside as he hurried to reach Jean and shake the offered hand. She was somewhat small, but hey, so were Shadowcat and X-23, and Kitty was holding her own where as one would have to be an idiot or Wolverine to mess with 23. Never judge a book by it's movie, after all. Or a saying similar to that.
"Hello! Jean," he nodded, shaking her hand before motioning for her to sit. "Yes, Jamie Madrox. I hear you're interested in the X-Men. Everyone comes to the team with their own level of expertise, experience and fears, so, if it's fine by you, I'd like to more use this meeting to get an idea of what you bring to the table, what your concerns are and how we can best and most easily incorporate you into the team." Another quick smile and Jamie did his best to evaluate her reaction, try to judge her nervousness, try not to look at those thick waves of red hair... Hey, he was still a man, and he seemed to have a real talent for his mind running that direction around telepathic women. Glorious, just glorious.
