Who: Cyclops and Blindfold When: Saturday, early afternoon Where: Mutant Town What: Coffee and a bookstore
Scott had felt the need to get out and actually get off the grounds for once. He hadn't ever actually made it out of the gates and figured why not? He didn't have anything specific in mind, but it had been a long time since he had been able to wonder around any town. Scott had been stretching his legs and enjoying nice walks around the grounds as it was, but to be around people again and see what stores were selling, people acting happy and normal (even if it was abnormal, given the fact that he was surrounded by other mutants) but it was nice for him to be able to feel that much more normal. Well, whatever normal could be considered anyway.
After a while, Scott found himself standing on a street corner just taking in his surroundings, wondering what the hell happened to his life. All of this craziness because of some strange natural occurence that changed people? And that strange dream, well, more like nightmare was hard enough to shake. Okay, not the whole thing, but certain parts bothered him. Looking around, it was hard to not remember the bits and pieces. It was simply disturbing, and right now, all Scott's thoughts quickly turned towards his family, or what was left of said family. Or they were until someone walked into him.
Turning towards the offender, Scott actually apologized. "I'm sorry." Sure, he was only standing there, but it made sense to him. He should have been paying better attention.
