That did make Jean blink. Hard. Both times... that meant he'd been old enough to serve in the military in the late eighties, early nineties. Which meant he was at least forty or so. She never would have guessed that! Not in a million years. That meant he was almost as old as her father. Or at least, was old enough to be her father. Her own father hadn't been young when he'd had his families, having waited to get tenure at Bard. All of this caused a more than slightly irreverent thought about her taste in men. Granted, Logan was still younger than Eddie, and clearly didn't look his age, whatever that age was. But still.
"I would never have thought you old enough," she finally said with a grin as she let the information settle into the back of her mind. Age didn't really matter to Jean. If it did, she never would have dated Eddie. Other interests in common were a lot more important to her than years.
Not that it mattered. It wasn't like she was dating Logan. Such thoughts were ridiculous.
"Is that where you learned to fly jets like the one you picked me up in?"
