His hands found her hips easily and his fingertips dug gently into what skin he could feel just above the band of her jeans. The kiss was light, simple, returned with him lightly nuzzling his nose against her cheek before she fell back to her heels. His hands drifted up, one coming to cup her cheek as he considered her question.
Part of him wanted to simply say yes. Another part wanted to scoff at her choice but.. at least she made one. And then there was the part of him that wanted to say, 'well as long as you're okay with me occasionally being a jewel thief' which he dared not utter.
Instead he smiled reassuringly and shrugged.
"It's your life, kitten. You're going to do what you want, and feel you need to do. I'll call a cab," he kissed her forehead and headed out of his room. Instantly the room was flooded with that much more light being kept at bay by his very presence.
In the living room he found his cell phone and dialed up a local cab service then called out.
"They'll be here in five. So, tell me," he returned to the doorway. "Is it just other men in this mansion, because that's actually worse than you just living with one guy."
