As he shifted, she turned toward him, watching him rub at his eyes. She had been keeping him up, but this seemed important. And as he continued to tell her more about his dream, it became clear she should start calling it their dream. His details were jogging her memory. There was a terminal she was working on while Wolverine kept watch, but Tobias had stopped her to lead her to what she was looking for. Like he knew the building better than they did.
“Maybe,” she started, wondering who would even think to intercept their dreams. Anyone at the Haven didn't know about him, and anyone here didn't really know about her. It could have been a mass attack, but the dream was so specific and so vivid, she wasn't sure who had a strong enough power to do that. She smiled and to lighten the mood, asked jokingly, “Did you piss anyone off around here?”
She thought back, going over the dream again, when she paused. The gun click – it was Toby. Wolverine and Kitty weren't carrying any; neither of them needed it. “It's probably nothing. I mean, you're not even involved in the whole mutant activism thing, right?” She bit her bottom lip. She had basically just told him that she was. But he had to have figured it out by now.
