"We have enough staff now that I am cutting back my hours. I am free in the mornings, if you like?" she offered, not sure if her new friend was an early riser or a night owl. Sabbah, as her name implied, tended to greet the dawn like a bird. Or maybe it was the wings that implied that. "It seems this is what Jamie has in mind anyway with his desire for us to train as a team. I wonder, is there anything I can do to aid you in your own training?"
It wasn't that she thought Storm would truly need her help, but it was only polite to offer it. Particularly since the other woman had so recently returned to Haven after a bad experience. Sabbah wasn't trained to aid with mental traumas, but she was still someone called to help those in need. And while she wasn't a psychiatrist, she was familiar with cases of PTSD and the things one survived in combat from her own life experiences. No matter how sheltered, one sees things where and how she grew up. The calm compassion she learned from her own life could only carry over into her dealings with those around her. Including her dealings as a sounding board.
