The Jamie's all shifted a uneasily, stealing glances one to the other. The skittish dupe had just set down three plates and made a very wide trip around Logan to deliver the last plate to Prime. He looked fully panicked for a moment before blurting out in a quick, high pitched, "I don't approve of it at a--"
He got no further, as Prime quickly reached out a hand, grabbed his arm and absorbed that dupe with a flash of gold light. The other two exchanged timid glances before looking to Prime again.
"Extra plate made, then," Jamie announced quietly, referring to the absorbed dupe's meal which had gone utterly untouched. He took a slow drink of his coffee and kept his eyes down, thankfully the other two dupes had remained silent. "...He had bad intel, it wasn't his doing. And while I now it doesn't mean all that much to you, believe me when I say he punished himself hard over it. He had a... friend... a good friend captured in the process, too." Oh there was jealousy there, while it stayed off his face and was likely unable to be seen in those expressive green eyes, given the way he had them turned down, Logan was sure to scent it on him. "For what it's worth," he added quietly, "I'm sorry." Not that Logan was the kind to need or want apologies, but Jamie felt it needed to be said.
