Who: Hermes and Valkyrie What: Nick helps Sabbah move some equipment into the new clinic When: Friday, December 17th, afternoon. Where: Sisters of Charity Clinic Warnings: Probably none
Nick had spent the past few days at the Mansion wandering around hardly believing his luck. He'd grown up in a house at least as big as the Mansion but the past year and a half or so had made him fully appreciate the security, the never ending supply of food (he had to suppress that instinct to horde it), the cleanliness and the constant but pleasant chatter of other Mutants. He had no problems staying indoors (it didn't hurt it was bitterly cold outside) but by now he was beginning to feel a bit restless. By now he would've moved on to another city, buried himself within the ever shifting masses of homeless.
As if sensing his restlessness, fate gave Nick a task, one he was perfectly suited for. Some equipment for the shelter had just arrived by mistake. The shipping labels had been mixed up and what should have gone to the clinic had been dropped off at the Mansion instead. Since the boxes were large and heavy, Nick volunteered to drive the boxes into New York. So after a quick call to Dr. Sadeeqi to arrange a time when she would meet him, Nick hopped into the truck and headed back into New York.
The drive gave him time to think, most of his thoughts focused on the very woman he was set to meet. Now that he had his safety and nourishment secure, Nick's mind had quickly wandered to other neglected aspects of his life like his appearance and women... a woman. Dr. Sabbah Sadeeqi to be exact. Nick smirked. Well no woman had been able to resist him before....
Some time later after careful driving through the narrow New York City streets to the back alleys of Mutant Town, Nick stopped at the back door of the new clinic and hopped out. Hunkering deeper into his new coat, he knocked on the door and stood back to wait for a response.
