A healing factor didn't do wonders on the common cold. Broken bones, torn muscle, cut skin? Sure. But a cold? God nothing good cure that, no matter what anyone said. Okay, well, maybe Josh could but Harrison was too proud to ask for the healer's help, nor was he about to ask Faith. Maybe it was just because he was determined to act like he wasn't sick. He kept saying, "allergies, man, allergies" but everyone knew he didn't have any.
It was undeniable, however, that he was dealing with something more than allergies because not only was his nose red from constantly wiping it with a kleenex but his throat was slightly raw and it made his voice husky. It didn't deter him from going christmas shopping, however, with what little money he made by working at the park every so often.
Furthermore, it didn't deter him from showing his christmas spirit in wild ways. He liked making people laugh, even if some of them thought what they were seeing wasn't real. Some were smart enough to realize the antlers on his head were far to realistic to be a headband, but most didn't. Most simply watched in amazement as Harrison went in and out of stores with antlers that had tiny ornaments hanging off them.
Of course, the ornaments didn't stay for long. Most of them went flying when he paused by a kiosk and sneezed so loudly that his whole upper body pitched forward. He wiped his nose with a kleenex fished out of his pocket and then glared at the mess the broken ornaments made.
