What was wrong with these people? Rogue could not understand it. She didn't want to. Shouldn't she be the insane one? The one with so many in her head that sometimes she felt so lost as to whether she was thinking her own thoughts, remembering her own memories, or having urges that were completely her own?
It didn't help that Rogue still felt too weak, too lost to be able to do much, but having Josh yell at her? Her? She looked up at him, face full of tears and laughed. She was leaning towards the hysterical side, but what did that matter? What did any of it matter anymore? "Me? How 'bout you? I brought her here for help. Help! And what do ya do? Nothin'! Not a damn thing! Ya just let her die! Ya were suppose' ta take care of her. It was why she was here!" It didn't help that she really felt as if she were at fault for needing to be said protection. For having a friend and not being able to do a damn thing about it. She shouldn't have stayed. She should have ran. So many would be better off. Who knows? Maybe Lotte would have lived, and if not, Rogue wouldn't have known.
But as soon as she heard that voice, her jaw set. She didn't want to see him, not him. Rogue had a head full of him before, and she wasn't sure she wanted to deal with another one of those conflicts, but to be honest, even as fearful as she was of it, she was far more upset. It didn't matter what he could do. She would rather keep the poison in her system then go for that on purpose. She wasn't dying, right?
Leaning into the table, she tried to force herself to stand up, slipping a little bit before making her way to do so. There was no way in hell that she was leaving here without the body. They couldn't protect her, they couldn't save her, so why the hell would she just give up and walk away? Her eyes just flickered between the two men.
"I'm hardly frail. And ya don't know what the hell I can do other then what you've already found out the wrong way." She quickly pointed out, not willing to back down. "I am not leaving her with ya." Pointing at Josh, "Ya couldn't save her. I'll find someone who can." Very delusional but at this point, who was to say it was out of grief or from the poison, let alone she just needed the voices to calm down. She was ungloved already, so she gave Logan a knowing look. "Ugly just got here. Don't you even try ta touch me." How was he to know that it was a threat to herself and not just him?
Putting a weak hand to her temple, she grinded her teeth, "Just shut the hell up!" She couldn't think. She was too weak to fly, let alone with Lotte in her arms. Holding out a hand towards both Josh and Logan, she shook her head as if trying to jiggle something free within it. "She's commin' with me."
