Suddenly, Logan had to be careful not to crush his phone, he was holding it so tightly and, well, he'd surely bruise the flesh of his fingers doing so, but his adamantium skeleton could probably shatter the little plastic contraption without a second thought. "You found Laura?!?! Is she okay?!?" he roared into the phone, which was followed by a blue streak of curses that would have made sailors blush.
"Yeah, Haven's fine. She's an X-man in training, that one," he said with pride. "I've been looking for that damn girl nonstop since she went missing! Where in the hell did you find her? I ain't slept in days looking for her!"
Logan heard Laura's voice very distantly over the phone. He didn't catch most of what she said, but he could make out she was cussing at James. It made him grin. His little girl was okay enough to cuss at that big behemoth, so she had to be fine. He had really needed this bit of good news. Logan, for all his healing factor, had been running on empty. In all his excitement over someone he trusted finding his daughter, however, he failed to mention Bryan had been rescued just the day before or so.
