'My team' was not a good enough answer for Laura, especially with how cryptic he was with the rest of the explanation. A team that didn't exist? Was he talking about Excalibur? Because as far as Laura knew, Logan was not a part of that team. Either there was something missing in his explanation, or Logan hadn't told her the whole truth about things. She really didn't know which case was correct. Her eyes continued following the man carefully as he approached her bedside and her claws remained unsheathed. "X-23," was her response. She wasn't about to give him her real name right now, not until she trusted him more than she did at the moment.
Laura didn't say a single thing to his instructions, but she took mental note. The men in that uniform were 'good'. Fine, she wouldn't stab them as long as they didn't try anything with her. At least that much she could say. Once a hand was on her restraints, she eyed him carefully, her brows furrowing deeply as he stopped. He was asking for her word? How could he expect that much from her when she didn't even know the man! Laura was about to open her mouth to retort, but she was quickly silenced when he talked about the Haven. More and more evidence was piling up in his favor, but she would remain cautious regardless. "I'm not running off unless you and your team decide to turn on me." With that, she retracted her claws and watched as he cut through the restraints.
Once the restraints were off, Laura sat up slowly, rubbing her wrists as she did so. The new wounds were closing up so all she really felt at the moment was soreness. Swinging her legs over the side of the bed, she pulled her boots on and stood up. She wavered for a moment, but quickly regained her composure and looked back up at the tall man. Laura merely nodded in acknowledgment at his last instructions and followed him out the door.
