There were definitely no traces of anxiety on this man and she attributed the heart rate and breathing to the mission he was obviously on. However, Laura would still remain on high alert. She wasn't about to trust the first person that busted in to supposedly save her unless it was someone she already knew. But from the sound of things, this man knew Logan, though of course Laura was skeptical even about that. "What team?" she asked. She hadn't recalled ever seeing this man whenever they had X-Men training sessions nor had she ever recalled hearing Logan mention someone like him before. The outlook for this man was fairly grim at the moment.
But then he went on to describe the metal that her father had and how he had known him before he acquired it. That made her feel like he was telling a bit more of the truth now, but she was still paranoid. "I know him," was her only answer to the man. She wasn't about to give anything else away until she knew she could actually trust him.
"If you're really here to help me get out, then get these things off me," she stated, though her tone wasn't all that polite. If he really turned out to be a friend and teammate of Logan's, she'd apologize later on. If not, he'd get slashed by six shiny new claws.
