Re: X-Men Team 3: Polaris/Reaver/Abaddon
"Argh, he's an idiot!" Lorna muttered under her breath, struggling to catch up. Finally she gave up and took off flying after him, riding the electromagnetic currents. She shouldn't have been so keen to catch up with him, she would think, in hindsight. Namely because all it got her was to be taken by surprise by a potentially deadly mutant. The insanely agile female body slamming into her knocked her breath out even before she hit the floor. Lorna mentally cursed herself, knowing that losing focus like this in a fight was a good way to get dead.
Her eyes had barely focused when Abaddon was purring and LICKING HER DAMN MOUTH!?!? Ew did not even begin to cover it. Lorna's hand shot up to cover her mouth at the same time that she tore a sheet of metal grating off the high wall beside them and batted Abaddon right off her with it, unless the feral woman saw it in time to jump away before the steel grid hit her.
"Get off me!" Lorna snarled simultaneously with her attack. "God, you're disgusting!" she went on, rolling away and scrambling to her feet. By the time she was standing, a swarm of big and small bits of metal, including chairs and trash cans that came dancing madly out of the surrounding rooms swirled around her as both shield and possible ammo. The question of how did she know her father would have to wait for another day. Preferably a day where she'd kicked the feral woman in the neck. "Reaver!" she barked with authority, perhaps showing more of her father than just his scent. "Where the hell are you?"
