Re: X-Men Team 3: Polaris/Reaver/Abaddon
"It's called seniority, short stuff. Look it up," she muttered, not really caring if Karr had heard her or not. She was uneasy about the active security in this place, and the electromagnetic grid around them showed no fluctuations, which was abnormal in and of itself. There were always fluctuations, but instead it read like there was only a steady, perfectly regulated flow. "I don't like this one bit," she went on, but it was probably lost on Karr, who was already recklessly leading the way. Lorna was just frustrated enough to think, better you than me. Then she remembered how upset Logan was about missing one of his kids. Maybe it would be a good idea not to let his other spawn go and get killed. She followed Karr as well as she could while trying to make as little noise as possible.
Lorna heard a noise, there was something around the corner in the next corridor. She had to concede something to Karr, he could move fast when he wanted to. She was feeling out all the loose metal objects along the way, ready to engage her magnetism and use them offensively or defensively. At least there was enough metal all around them that Lorna would not lack for weapons if it came to that.
