Re: X-Men Team 3: Polaris/Reaver/Abaddon
Getting in had been surprisingly easy, yet she had been disappointed by what the place had to offer so far. There were others about the place, she could hear and smell them, and sadly most of them of her own team. A few other scents caught her attention, but for the most part she was silently, or rather as silent as she thought to be, roaming the halls of the place looking for something to give her a good fight. It had been too long since she had a real, decent fight with something nearly as strong as she was, her body and blood begged for a real challenge.
She hadn't noticed when she knocked the chair over in one of the offices, but what attracted her attention was the strengthening of a scent she could not place. It was either a man or some kind of dog, she couldn't be sure, but it was headed for her location at speed. It was also followed by something that smelled pretty and very vaguely familiar, which interested her more than some man-dog beast.
Instead of racing toward them and knowing they would be headed in her direction she left the office she had been in to the one two doors down, laying in wait for them. She wanted to know what she was attacking before she did anything. Not that she was at all concerned at being beaten, but she liked to savor the hunting aspect of it all.
