Re: X-Men Team 3: Polaris/Reaver
Karr had to suppress a sigh. Why was she no damn fun? He wanted to at least see a little panic in her eyes. Whatever, everyone was out to get him, anyway, he had recently decided. He needed a good long run of trouble and booze and drugs and women, too bad his involvement with the X-Men had put him in the biggest dry streak of his young life.
Karr knew the sounds Lorna was making all too well, surprise and frustration. Why was it he was always hearing those sounds lately? Why couldn't he be hearing sounds of satisfaction, or praises, or his name in a moan of pleasure? Uuugh. To say that Karr was frustrated would be a rather massive understatement. "Whut? There's no alarms, you hear any alarms?" Clearly he missed the word 'silent,' he had never been accused of being the brightest. And then she flew. Great. Freaking great. Everyone had a cooler power than him. Karr popped his claws out of his knuckles, just to make himself feel a little better, then jumped over the barbed wire, landing on the inside of the fence with a low grunt, making a line for the door as he grumbled something under his breath about Lorna being damn right that he was mighty. He really had a way of missing the point.
