Now that she had gotten over the fear of Logan and Karr discovering her, that fear turned to annoyance as she glared up at him. "I'm working and you're fucking it all up," she retorted pointedly. The look Logan was giving her would be enough to enstill the fear of God in anyone, but not Laura. She didn't feel the need to explain herself to him and refused to cower at his gruff words.
Everything that happened next seemed to happen at the blink of an eye. Laura suddenly felt herself being pulled up by Lotte while the bouncer bounded toward the stage and grabbed the back of Logan's shirt. "That's it. You're outta here, buddy." Crap. Bad idea, Derick.
Laura was standing now, thanks to Lotte, but she couldn't seem to get her legs to carry her back stage. Instead, she watched in mild shock as Derick attempted to drag Logan out of the club. Meanwhile, other patrons were starting to get restless.. booing and hollering and being generally belligerent as all of this had interrupted their good time.
This was not what she thought her night was going to be like.
