Re: open to anyone!
Of course, Lila didn't mind the look he gave her. She enjoyed it perhaps a bit more than any sensible, sober girl should, but didn't do much more than laugh along as he chuckled, glad he at least found some humor in what was intended to be nothing more than a bad joke. Agreeing with his assessment, she offered a kind of quiet, "Mhm," arms folded loosely across her chest as though the behavior was in some way less than what was expected. Parties were basically vehicles by which people networked, hooked up, got into trouble - at least George, or whoever he was, was taking the initiative about it.
Not one to turn down a cigarette - even those terrible ones with the glass and the minty flavor! - she pulled one out between her thumb and forefinger, lighting up with a small, worn-out book of matches fished from the depths of her jacket pocket. "Appreciate it." Sliding her sleeve up to reveal a smooth, pale wrist unadorned with any time-telling device, she made a thoughtful kind of face and nodded. "Twenty minutes or so, give or take a bit." Taking the first drag off the now-lit cigarette, she let her attention flicker back to his boys, before returning to the man himself. "Wisdom, is it? Or is that some kind of fancy nickname?"
