"Oh, father. Right. Oh. Oooooooooooh." He had to let the information fully digest. He could not help but give her a quick once-over then, shaking his head slowly. She sure looked better than Daddy. He at least had better sense than to say that out loud, Logan had good ears and he did not want to see daddy angry. Of course the fact that he was not going to hit on her did not mean that he was not going to take an opportunity to show off.
"Well, kind of." Jamie shrugged, glancing around to make sure there was enough room, then he stomped one foot on the ground. In the blink of an eye, there were two Jamies standing there, both well dressed minus the pants, both holding a martini, both grinning.
"We're full of tricks, you see." "But sometimes tricks can be a treat!" "We're keeping our friend happy by completing the band for him." "And were still able to go in our costume of choice."
The two Jamies looked at each other, grinned and shook hands. "Teamwork!" They both exclaimed, then one of the Jamies momentarily flickered with gold light, and was absorbed back into the other Jamie. It was a showy little thing and it amused Jamie, at least. He took a slow sip of his martini to give Laura time to comprehend it all. "...So yeah. Three other costumes around here as well."
