Josh glanced over at the Mansion and its bright lights and thought about the crowds and the pulsing music. He had no date so that made the part that less fun for him so he thought why not? "Sure, I can come. Just let me know when you're getting ready to go and I'll change into some clothes. I have a car. It's nothing fancy, but it'll at least get us there and get you home. If you need a ride home."
It seemed kind of late for show which made him wonder what sort of show it was. "What kind of show is it? What kind of dancing?" he asked curiously.
The wagon bumped to a stop and Josh jumped out, holding his hand out to offer her help down off the tall step. There were enough gopher holes and burrows here and it was dark enough that if she wasn't careful she could easily break an ankle and while it wouldn't be a challenge to heal it, it would still hurt.
