He bobbed his head in agreement, smiling faintly as he looked at the Haven. Even being so far on the outside, this was something akin to his idea of Heaven. Even if he still felt like an outsider at times, he was free to run and have fun here, people put up with him, and sometimes pretty girls would come and talk to him, what more could he ask for? He was really, really glad Lorna wanted to talk to him after the burger thing, even if he was not fully showing it. Kyle often had a very simple view of the world, but that unique outlook served him well and left him more happy than many people.
Lorna's request drew a surprised look from Gibs, his bushy brows jumping up. "Uh..." He rumbled, blinking a few times. He looked from her to the Haven and back again. It wasn't that far... and--she could fly? He wanted to fly! He physically shook his head to try and shake the rabbit trails from forming and stay on topic. She wanted an escort, and why she wanted him, he really had no idea, but who was he to say no to a pretty girl? He turned his face towards the Haven again and sniffed, there was some kind of meat. Probably processed, not the good, raw bloody kind that he was so fond of, but some kind of meat among all the sweets. That was reason enough to investigate, provided that people did not run screaming when he entered.
"'Kay," he agreed after a long moment, rocking his weight forward to help him rise out of his crouch and stand. There was some part of his brain which still registered that when escorting a lady, it was good to be on two legs, not the four he generally preferred. Even then he looked something almost less than human, as he had a pronounced 'feral stoup,' walking on the balls of his feet with his legs bent rather than the more upright posture people usually had. Combine that with the fact that he was quite short, his posture left hims several inches shorter than Polaris made them quite the sight. He took a few steps before he spoke again, perhaps being on two legs jogged something human in his brain. "...ya look nice," he rumbled rather bashfully, glancing nervously up at her. Hopefully that was an okay thing to say.
