Turning toward the familiar voice (although now it was healthy and hearty and not slurred and weak like before), Josh gave Kurt a bright smile thinking the blue mutant was just teasing him. But the smile on Kurt's face and the guileless look in his eyes made Josh quickly realize that Kurt wasn't joking.
Josh's smile dipped but turned into something warmer. "Kurt, it's Josh. Remember all that time you spent in the infirmary? I was there trying to heal you with Faith, remember?" Although he might not. Before Kurt had gotten the virus, Josh had never met the man before since he spent most of his time in the infirmary and Kurt was so damn healthy he never got so much as an infected splinter. The first time they'd ever met Kurt had been running a high fever.
"This is my real skin. Well, the color is, the shininess is baby oil. I just shaved my head and eyebrows. You'd probably recognize me better with hair," Josh went on to say with a grin. "How're you feeling by the way? Faith said you were doing good and you look great but I like hearing from the patients themselves." And it would tell him if they're lying or not.
