Re: Team 1: Rictor & Shatterstar
Rictor nodded, noting the change in Star. He was no longer looking like he was seeking nay excuse to cut someone in half, so that put Ric more at ease. He shrugged the pack on again and hurried to the spot he was ordered to, wasting little time in ripping drawers out and dropping papers into a pile. So many lives printed out here in the most stark, most dehumanizing terms possible, Ric thought with disgust. Treated like animals or weaponry, cataloged and filed away like something to be tracked and controlled, all hints of their humanity lost behind their abilities. Disgusting.
"Not a lot useful," Ric answered with a shrug as he flung an empty drawer aside. "Killed the security camera feed and blanked their digital recordings from them. Hopefully they're not backed up on another remote server, but I didn't see any indications of that. Killed the cached data that was most recently put in, we should be pretty good to go." He broke into a sly grin as he added, "I also found some stored credit card data there from personal use. Used them to order about fifty pizzas to be sent to Pierson's house." It had taken all of five seconds, and Ric simply could not resist himself once he had gotten the idea.
He stepped back once there were a half a dozen files remaining, letting Star empty those as he pulled out the A.D.P. and doused a bit of gasoline over the scattered papers, just to ensure they would burn. "We ready?" He asked once Star was finished dumping files, giving him a somewhat warm grin. Then he remembered that Star had pissed him off rather badly, and his face returned to a serious frown. Well, an almost frown. He was trying. it was very hard for Ric not to feel smug and delighted after pulling off a stunt like this.
