Re: Team 1: Rictor & Shatterstar
"Slow, but getting there," Shatterstar replied as he swiftly and methodically emptied drawer after drawer. And there were archives on each floor? Who knew so many foolish mutants had registered? It was madness.
"You have the A.D.P." Star went on, referring to the state-of-the-art aerosolized de-natured phosphorus they had been provided with. Unlike normal phosphorus, which ignites when dry, this version was somehow coated in a retardant gel that gave the user as long as they needed to use it. For the coating to break down, it needed fairly high temperatures to ignite. That was what the timed-detonator devices were for, a low-explosive, high incendiary yield canister based on the basic thermate incendiary grenade model. Since they had several floors to cover, the timer had been set for twenty minutes. That should give them plenty of time to clear the area and make sure no innocents were left behind.
That had been the original plan, Star recalled, so why had he been so murderous earlier? Now was not the time to dwell on such things, he told himself immediately. He continued his conversation without pause.
"Start from the East wall, I've emptied everything starting from there. Did you find anything useful?" he asked, working as he spoke.
