Such a pretty day Who: Wild Child, open to Hydrophyte What: A first meeting When: Saturday afternoon Where: Out front of the Haven Warnings: Gibs oddness, for now The day was beautiful, and Kyle simply could not keep himself indoors. He had been running the grounds around the Haven to burn off some of his energy, chasing whatever birds, squirrels or other wildlife had the misfortune of attracting his attention. He was not looking to kill or even hurt anything, it was all play to the wild youth, but accidents did happen and the chase was likely terrifying for the small creatures he focused on. His last chase left him up in the tree branches, huffing at the bird which dared elude him. The blonde was lightly winded, claws hooked into the tree bark as he grinned after the fleeing bird. That had been fun, he decided.
The most logical way back to the Haven was to climb out of tree and walk back, but Kyle was anything but logical. His approach was much more fun and much less efficient, the perfect thing for a furry bundle of energy. Crouching low to position himself, Kyle flung his form from one tree branch to the next, causing the crowns of the trees to sway and shudder. He was not terribly good at it yet, while agile and equipped with claws, leaping like this was a skill which needed to be developed and perfected. He was getting better, and had at least managed to not fall quite yet. He stopped, perched in a branch when he was close enough to the Haven that trees became more scarce and jumping distances increased quite a bit.
Lightly winded, Gibney surveyed the area. Such a pretty day and so few people out, he could almost pout over the fact. Blue eyes caught movement below him, his head canting far around to one side as twig-filled blonde hair fell over his shoulder and half obscured his vision. Oh, a person! Kyle decided to pay them a hello, happy to see a fellow lover of the outdoors. Of course, being as lacking as he was in social skills, he did not plan to just offer a friendly hello. Instead, he waited until the person below was close, only then did he jump from the tree. He let out a loud, playful growl as he dove to the ground like a wild cat, hoping to startle the person he had already dubbed a new friend, and maybe even be chased fro his mischief. That seemed like great fun to his mind.
