Oh he and Logan were going to have a talk. A good, long one. He was not at all happy about this, and he had no intentions of making any kind of secret of the fact. He kept sniffing, attempting to pull in her emotions with his empathetic nose, none of it making sense to him. Then she said something which made it all make more sense to him.
"Oh," he said, some of the tension in his form releasing, his expression shifting to arrogance. "Well, that makes more sense," he scoffed lightly. It explained the lack of attachment when he was mentioned, it also explained the 'biological' statement. She did not know him, she just found out, this had not been some big, hush hush secret kept from him. He felt a little better, not that Logan was going to get off without a very snarly discussion. Somehow, Karr felt superior. Logan had known his mother, granted not for very long, and he had known Logan longer, granted only by the toss of the dice. But still, it was good enough for him, just enough to feed his ego. "Well," he said more casually, reaching to snatch up the bag of jerky again. "Good luck gettin' ta know 'em," he rumbled as he started for the door, with a 'I was here first' challenge to his tone.
