Wow, this guy was really in denial for some reason. Why would someone ever lie about something as serious as paternity? The more she thought about it, the more it seemed that he could be upset at Logan for not telling him before meeting her. Laura's face remained expressionless though she noticed now that he was obviously trying to take in her scent. "I assumed he would have, but obviously I was wrong."
His stubbornness was quickly starting to aggravate her, even moreso when he leaned forward and began to scrutinize her every move. It seemed that Laura was more like her biological father than she thought. Having her mother stripped away from her and having to fight for survival made her put on a hardened mask. It was the only way she could continue on. Laura glared daggers straight into his eyes now, her stance remaining as firm as ever. "How could I possibly even know him well when I just met him?" she stated, her tone now beginning to border on exasperated. "Up until a few days ago, he was just an anonymous sperm donor to me." The realization that Logan was her father was a bit of a shock, but it was no happy or tearful reunion. She didn't ever expect to know who her father was nor was she ever dying to find out. It wasn't something that ever bothered her before, but apparently knowing was much more difficult than not knowing.
