While taking a swig of juice, Laura peered over at him with a mix of disgust and curiosity. At the mention of making it worth her while, she cringed noticeably. That was disgusting. "I sincerely doubt it." Even if he wasn't her half-brother, she'd never go for him. The guy was an uneducated slob. Chances were, if things continued on this way even after she revealed that she was his half-sister, this would end up being worse than what Kitty had done to him.
Moving to keep the kitchen counter between them, she grabbed a granola bar from one of the counters and stayed on the opposite side of the room from him. His sly smirk didn't go unnoticed though and Laura promply glared at him. She was about to open her mouth to speak, but then he had to go and show her his claws. Her eyes regarded them for a second or two before she started to chuckle slightly. "Bigger like these?" Her own fist was raised as two long bone claws emerged from between her knuckles, the wound healing as instantly as his. "Your nose really isn't as good as ours, is it?"
