His face was going to ache later from all the massive grinning he was doing but he knew it was all worth it. It had been far too long since he'd driven and he was going to enjoy it for all it was worth. He didn't even mind the frequent touches from the pink-haired fellow beside him, he knew some people were like that and outside his native Indiana it was likely pretty common, especially among the wealthy. He noticed the touches but didn't react, too enthralled with what he was doing to care what the other man was doing, though the quick glance he gave the man beside him nearly made him laugh. Pink hair was even funnier when it was getting whipped about by the wind.
"110!" Bryan shouted, turning his eyes from the speedometer back to the road. He wasn't sure if Frederic heard him, but it didn't really matter, the speed and the thrill were what was important. He could feel his heart pounding in his ears, the excitement nearly too much for him to handle. He was pushing 120 by the time he realized that they were getting further and further away from Haven and would eventually have to turn back. His mind and body wanted to rebel, he wanted to keep going, but it wasn't his car and it would have been cruel to Reed to run off without a word.
"How far you wanna go?" he shouted, though this time he was sure the other man didn't hear him thanks to the sudden sound of sirens behind them. His blue eyes flickered up to the rear-view mirror just to be sure that it was indeed the highway patrol. "We can take them, if you want!" he shouted, making sure the other man heard him.
