Ruth could hear some spare bits of how Lorna was dealing with the situation, but so long as she wasn't freaking out about Ruth's abilities, Ruth was more than happy not to speak of things further. It was good for things to be simpler for her. There was enough confusion in her head regarding the way things were connected future, past, and present.
The listing of sandwiches made her a little confused since really, she couldn't understand why anyone would want to eat goat cheese and watercress. Though it also made her interested since she'd never had it before. "Wanna try goat cheese?" There were only two left, might as well each of them give it a shot and see if they liked it. Might be worthwhile.
"Telepathy plus pre and post-cognition," she acknowledged. "Know the future, the past, and the present. Makes for lot of confusion. Dat's why dey didn' kill me." The precog treated it with an almost flippant attitude, not because she didn't think it was important, but because if she thought about it too much she was going to want to cry. She couldn't cry, it was a physical impossibility.
