Logan stared at them some more, and finally had to snort and shake his head at Kyle's behavior. He narrowed his eyes at the pup's ability to read their relative status by just being in the room. In a sense, the kid was more in tune with his feral side than Logan himself was, if it was all so clear to him even thought he wasn't what one would call quite all there.
"Hey. I ain't that big an ass," he grumbled through a smirk, then scrunched up his nose thoughtfully and grimaced slightly. He chuckled and nodded to himself, saying, "Nah. Nah, I guess I am." Logan then promptly shrugged amicably at the other two and took a deep swig of his beer, followed by an appreciative belch.
"Excuse me," he muttered in a tone that made it clear he didn't really care one way or another. In fact, he only said it because it amused him. Too many times he'd done the exact same thing in polite company or in a commanding officer's face just to be belligerent. One of the many reasons he often wasn't as hard on Karr as most people would expect him to be. Apple. Tree.
Logan wolfed down the remains of his sandwich. When the subject turned to girls, he did his best to keep his eyes glued to the TV screen, but one eyebrow shot up and he snorted softly at Nik's response.
"You'd be surprised," Logan deadpanned off-handedly. "Some of them like fur just fine," he finished in a neutral tone, but with that eyebrow cocked high, the only sign that he was amused by the conversation. In fact, having been at the Haven longer than the other two, he knew what he was talking about.
Of course, when it came to one night stands, Logan wasn't exactly Mister Picky but, hey! Any port in a storm. Logan was very good at finding something attractive in most women he met, and having recently lost the woman he loved didn't mean he'd suddenly become a monk. In fact, the only times in Logan's life when he didn't whore around was when he was in a committed relationship. Those were fairly sacred to him. Otherwise, he was quite adept at boozing and womanizing to drown his sorrows.
